About John Webb, MD
Dr. John Webb is a healthcare professional and businessman who marries together his two professional interests into his career as COO of Men’s Health Boston a Beth Israel Care Organization and Harvard Medical School affiliated practice..
Dr. Webb’s interest in medicine began from a very young age, born of pure exposure. Dealing with several health complications throughout his youth, Dr. Webb spent most of his adolescence under nearly constant care from two different physicians; as a child, these men were superheroes to him. At the tender age of six, he knew what he wanted to do with his life.
Dr. Webb earned his Bachelor of Science from Regents College, after which he attended Sherman Chiropractic College where he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2001. Then in 2015, he graduated from Ross University School of Medicine with his Doctor of Medicine.
After graduating with his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2001, Dr. John Webb decided to open his own practice. Combining his knowledge of business and healthcare, he negotiated with an established physician for space, and soon founded — and subsequently became the owner and Practice Administrator of — his very own chiropractic clinic, Health First. While co-owning and administering multiple clinics, he directly managed a staff of nearly two dozen employees, comprised of four chiropractic physicians as well as skin care therapists, massage therapists, and support staff.
While still managing his practice, Dr. John Webb gained some experience in academia when he worked as Adjunct Faculty in Anatomy and Physiology at Central Carolina Technical College in Sumter, South Carolina. While here, he taught Anatomy and Physiology at the upper college level alongside distance learning biology courses, which included developing a curriculum, creating benchmarks, and evaluating the students’ preparedness for future healthcare programs and curriculums.
Dr. Webb has also worked with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for two years as a Confidential Source for a Fraudulent Healthcare Insurance Investigation, where he conducted data and human intelligence collection for fraudulent healthcare and insurance billing practices.
Prior to his current role at Men’s Health Boston, Dr. John Webb worked at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach as a Resident Physician. In this role, he worked with a variety of patients in multiple departments to provide patient care, while additionally overseeing medical interns and students through teaching and training them on procedures, standards of care, and general professionalism.
